These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Blip AI, a voice-to-text application operated by Glorious Proprietorship ("Blip AI," "we," "us," or "our"). By using Blip AI, you agree to these Terms.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using Blip AI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Blip AI.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Blip AI. By using our service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Blip AI is a voice-to-text application that allows you to dictate text into any application on your computer (Windows or Mac). Features include:

  • Voice transcription using AI technology
  • "Hey Blip" voice commands for intelligent text generation
  • Cross-application compatibility
  • AI-powered text polishing and formatting

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

3. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS & LIFETIME ACCESS

3.1 Available Plans

Free Plan

  • 100 dictations per month
  • Basic features
  • No payment required

Monthly Subscription Plans

  • Starter: $10/month - 100,000 words/month
  • Pro: $20/month - 250,000 words/month
  • Power: $40/month - Unlimited words (fair use applies)

Lifetime Plans (One-Time Payment)

  • Plus Plan: $59 - 100,000 words/month for lifetime
  • Pro Plan: $99 - 250,000 words/month for lifetime
  • Power Plan: $179 - Unlimited words/month for lifetime (fair use applies)

3.2 What "Lifetime Access" Means

IMPORTANT: "Lifetime" refers to the operational lifetime of Blip AI as a product, not your personal lifetime.

Lifetime Access includes:

  1. Minimum Guarantee: We guarantee service availability for a minimum of 2 years from your purchase date.
  2. Intended Duration: We intend to operate Blip AI indefinitely and provide lifetime access as long as the business is viable.
  3. Right to Discontinue: We reserve the right to discontinue Blip AI if:
    • Business operations become economically unsustainable
    • Technical infrastructure becomes unavailable
    • Legal or regulatory requirements prevent operation
    • Third-party services we rely on (Azure, OpenAI, Groq) terminate or become unavailable
    • Force majeure events (natural disasters, war, pandemics, government actions)

3.3 Shutdown Policy & Refunds

If we must discontinue Blip AI, the following refund policy applies:

Shutdown within first 2 years:

  • 100% full refund of your purchase price

Shutdown between years 2-5:

  • Pro-rated refund calculated as:
    • Refund = Purchase Price × (Remaining Months ÷ 60 months)
    • Example: Shutdown after 3 years (36 months used of 60 assumed)
      • Refund = $99 × (24 ÷ 60) = $39.60

Shutdown after 5 years:

  • No refund (you have received reasonable value for your purchase)

Shutdown Notice:

  • Minimum 90 days advance notice via email and website announcement
  • Data export tools provided during notice period
  • Service continues operating normally during notice period

Monthly Subscriptions: Cancel anytime. No refund for partial months. Service continues until end of current billing period.

4. PAYMENT & BILLING

4.1 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (Stripe, Dodo Payments). We do not store your credit card information.

4.2 Subscription Billing

Monthly Plans

  • Billed on the same day each month
  • Auto-renewal unless canceled
  • Cancel anytime via account settings
  • No refund for partial months

Lifetime Plans

  • One-time payment
  • No recurring charges
  • Non-refundable after 60 days (except per shutdown policy above)

4.3 REFUND POLICY

4.3.1 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee for all purchases.

Refund Processing Depends on Where You Purchased:

A) PURCHASES THROUGH PARTNER PLATFORMS (DealMirror, AppSumo, etc.)

Refund Process:

  1. Contact the platform where you purchased (e.g., DealMirror support)
  2. They will process your refund according to their policies
  3. You will receive a full refund of the amount you paid to them
  4. We will deactivate your license code

Refund Timeline:

  • Within 60 days of purchase: Full refund
  • Platform processes refund (typically 5-14 business days)

Important:

  • We do NOT handle refunds for partner platform purchases
  • Contact the platform's support team, not us
  • You receive the full amount you paid the platform
  • Platform will share refunded codes with us for deactivation
B) DIRECT PURCHASES (blipai.app)

Refund Amount:

  • You will receive a refund of the amount we received after platform/partner fees
  • This is typically 97% of your purchase (payment processor takes ~3%)
  • Example: You paid $99 → We received ~$96 → Refund = $96

Why not 100%?

  • Payment processors (Stripe, etc.) charge non-refundable fees (~3%)
  • We refund what we actually received
  • This is standard practice for online businesses

Refund Process:

  1. Email support@blipai.app within 60 days of purchase
  2. Include your order number and registered email
  3. We process refund within 14 business days
  4. Refund issued to original payment method

Refund Timeline:

  • Request within: 60 days of purchase
  • Processing time: 7-14 business days
  • Refund appears on your card: 5-10 business days after processing

4.3.2 Refunds After 60 Days

Monthly Subscriptions:

  • Cancel anytime via account settings
  • No refund for current month (service continues until end of billing period)
  • No charges after cancellation

Lifetime Plans:

  • Generally non-refundable after 60 days
  • EXCEPTION: Service shutdown policy (see Section 4.3.3 below)

4.3.3 Service Shutdown Refund Policy

If we discontinue Blip AI, refunds calculated based on service duration:

Shutdown within first 2 years of your purchase:

  • 100% refund of the amount we received (after platform/partner fees)
  • Partner platform purchases: Platform handles full refund

Shutdown between years 2-5 of your purchase:

Pro-rated refund calculated as:
Refund = Amount We Received × (Months Remaining ÷ 60 months)

Shutdown after 5 years:

  • No refund (you received reasonable value)

4.3.4 Important Notes About Refunds

Platform/Partner Fees:

When you purchase through different channels, different parties receive different amounts:

  • Direct Purchase: We refund what we receive (your payment - processing fees).
  • Partner Platform (e.g. DealMirror): Partner platform refunds you the full amount you paid them, they deduct their payment to us.

Why This Matters:

  • Partner platforms handle their own refunds
  • We only refund what we actually received for direct sales
  • You always get refunded by whoever charged your card

4.3.5 Disputed Charges & Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback.

If you dispute a charge without contacting us, your account may be immediately suspended, we may be charged a fee, and we may pursue the chargeback. Proper process: Email billing@blipai.app first.

5. FAIR USE POLICY

5.1 Unlimited Plans

"Unlimited" plans are intended for reasonable individual use, not commercial resale or abuse.

5.2 What Happens If You Exceed Fair Use

Consistent Excessive Use (3M+ words/month for 3+ consecutive months) may result in account throttling, requested upgrade to enterprise, or suspension (with notice).

5.3 Prohibited Use

Unlimited plans do NOT allow:

  • Running a commercial transcription business using Blip AI
  • Reselling access to Blip AI
  • Sharing your account with multiple users
  • Automated/bot usage at enterprise scale

6. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

6.1 Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use Blip AI to:

  • Illegal Activities: Violate any local, state, national, or international law or engage in fraud.
  • Harmful Content: Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others, create/distribute illegal content, spread malware.
  • Service Abuse: Reverse engineer, hack, overwhelm our infrastructure, or resell access.
  • Spam & Automation: Use Blip AI for spam or automate usage beyond reasonable personal productivity.

6.2 Consequences of Violation

Violation may result in warning, temporary suspension, permanent termination without refund, or legal action.

7. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

You may cancel subscriptions anytime via account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You Own Your Content

You retain all rights to content you create using Blip AI (transcriptions, text, documents). By using Blip AI, you grant us a limited license to process your voice and text to provide the service.

Our Software

All code, design, branding, and technology of Blip AI are owned by Glorious Proprietorship. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or resell our software.

9. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

BLIP AI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We specifically disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, 100% accurate transcriptions, and 100% uptime availability.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

10.1 MAXIMUM LIABILITY CAP

OUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT WE RECEIVED FROM YOUR PURCHASE.

Refund/Liability Calculation:

  • Direct Purchases: Maximum liability is the amount we actually received after payment processing fees.
  • Partner Platform Purchases: Maximum liability to you is $0. The partner platform handles refunds for the full amount you paid them.
  • Monthly Subscriptions: Payments we received in last 12 months.
  • Free Plan Users: $0.

We Are NOT Liable For:

  • Amounts paid to partner platforms (they handle refunds)
  • Payment processing fees (Stripe, PayPal, etc. - non-refundable)
  • Any damages beyond your purchase price
  • Lost profits, productivity, or other consequential damages

Examples of Valid Claims:

  • ✅ "I paid $99, want a refund within policy" → Process per refund policy
  • ✅ "Service shut down after 1 year" → Full refund per shutdown policy

Examples of Invalid Claims:

  • ❌ "Blip AI cost me $10,000 in lost productivity" → Max liability = what you paid us
  • ❌ "Payment processor kept $3, I want it back" → We can't control processor fees

10.2 Excluded Damages

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR: Financial Damages (lost profits, revenue, cost of substitute services), Data & Content (loss, corruption, inaccurate transcriptions), Indirect damages (consequential, incidental, punitive), or Third-Party Issues.

10.3 Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures caused by natural disasters, war, pandemics, government actions, or internet outages.

11. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glorious Proprietorship and Blip AI from any claims arising from your use of the service or violations of these Terms.

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & ARBITRATION

12.1 Informal Resolution: Before filing any legal claim, you MUST attempt to resolve it informally by emailing legal@blipai.app and allowing us 30 days to respond.

12.2 Binding Arbitration: IF INFORMAL RESOLUTION FAILS, ALL DISPUTES MUST BE RESOLVED THROUGH BINDING ARBITRATION, NOT COURT.

12.3 CLASS ACTION WAIVER (CRITICAL): YOU AGREE TO RESOLVE ALL DISPUTES INDIVIDUALLY, NOT AS PART OF A CLASS ACTION.

12.4 Opt-Out: You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of account creation by emailing legal@blipai.app.

12.5 Governing Law: Laws of India. Jurisdiction: Courts of Delhi, India.

13. DATA & PRIVACY

Your use of Blip AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

14. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

We may modify these Terms at any time with 30-day notice for minor changes and 60-day notice for material changes.

15. GENERAL PROVISIONS

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Blip AI regarding use of the service.

  • You understand the limitation of liability (refund of purchase price maximum)
  • You agree to arbitration and waive right to class actions
  • You understand "lifetime" means product lifetime, not your lifetime
  • You understand we may shut down with 90 days notice and refund policy applies

If you do not agree, do not use Blip AI.
